SPbGASU hosted an awarding ceremony for the best participants of the BIM elective course implemented as part of the WP2 of the BIM-ICE Project.
The expert jury evaluated the work of the participants according to their competencies. The student teams presented their projects on February 24, 2021.
The information models developed during the elective included architectural and structural parts, water supply and sanitation systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and electricity. Students also developed local heat distribution stations and calculated the estimated cost of the project. Out of 11 teams at the start of the elective, only 7 reached the finish line. All participants who successfully completed the training were awarded AutoDesk certificates.
Maria Khmelnitskaya, a student of the Faculty of Architecture at SPbGASU, who took 1st place in architecture, shared her impressions of the BIM elective and her personal results:
Participation in the BIM elective course allowed me not only to master the software, but also to take into account the interaction of different systems when designing a building. In addition to acquiring professional knowledge and skills, we also gained valuable experience in teamwork.
On behalf of the BIM-ICE project team, we congratulate the students with excellent results and wish them further success!
